John Wirtz lends a hand in making carnival a success |19 January 2013

Accompanied by his wife, Mr Wirtz presented a copy of the single to Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St Ange this week at the National Cultural Centre.

Present for the short ceremony were the chief executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) Elsia Grandcourt, special advisor for culture Raymonde Onezime and director general for culture Marcel Rosalie.

Also present were well known musician George Payet who helped Mr Wirtz with the song and a group of children from the Children’s Choir who gave vocal backing.

Mr St Ange said he is happy that Mr Wirtz has taken this initiative to make a contribution to the success of the Carnival.

He added it is a good example of how people can contribute and play an important role in making the carnival a real success.

Mrs Grandcourt said STB appreciates Mr Wirtz’s contribution to the Carnaval International de Victoria.
