Football-Interesting prizes to be won through President’s Cup tickets |19 February 2013

The Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) secretariat informed Sports Nation yesterday that tickets for Saturday’s curtain-raiser President’s Cup match between St Michel and Anse Reunion will cost a flat rate of R25.

The President’s Cup is played each year between the previous season’s division one league champions and the cup winners.
All tickets sold will go into a draw for eight interesting prizes. The first prize is a return ticket to Mauritius. Second prize is a weekend for two at the Patatran hotel on La Digue and third a weekend for two at Le Duc hotel on Praslin.

Fourth prize is two tickets for all matches for the whole season, while fifth prize is a VIP pass for all matches. The sixth-prize winner will get a food processor, while the seventh-prize winner will get a 6GB USB.  The eight prize is a mobile phone.

Tickets are already on sale at the SFF headquarters, Maison Football, Roche Caïman.
Saturday’s match will kick off at 4.30pm and it will be contested by St Michel and Anse Reunion who were involved in Confederation African Football (Caf) club competitions at the weekend and registered contrasting results.

Playing in front of their fans at Stad Linite, defending Barclays league division one champions St Michel scored the first goal and were still beaten 4-1 by visitors Tusker FC of Kenya in the first leg preliminary round of the Caf Champions League.

As for La Digue-based reigning cup champions Anse Reunion, they held Gor Mahia to a goalless away draw at the Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, in the first leg preliminary round of the Caf Confederation Cup.

St Michel are the reigning President’s Cup winners after earning a 5-3 victory in a penalty shoot-out against La Passe last year after the match had ended on stalemate (0-0) at Stad Linite.
