Airtel slashes prepaid on-net tariffs by 70% |04 March 2013

Through the use of the packs, it will cost Airtel prepaid customers less to make calls from Airtel to Airtel. The benefit will be more  apparent during peak hours, as calls which usually cost SR3.99 p/m will go down to SR1.20 p/m.

Speaking on the new value additions, Airtel Seychelles’s country manager, Vikram Sinha, said the five new mini packs ranging from SR16 to SR90, reiterates Airtel’s commitment to continue to offer innovative, flexible and affordable value that meet the growing demands and needs of all our customers, in particular the youth.

Now entering its 15th year since it launched its operations in Seychelles, Airtel has continuously led the market with rate reductions, new original products and services and played a crucial role in making mobile services more affordable to customers.

"We will continue with our efforts to provide efficient communication while fulfilling our commitment to enhance quality and affordable services and provide unique experiences to our customers across Seychelles," added Mr Sinha.

Airtel acknowledges the fact that telecoms consumers are having the best of times more than ever before because of the innovation being brought to them.
