Musical charity fund-raising in aid of sick singer |07 March 2013

Well known for his Elvis Presley-like voice, singer Patrick Octave became popular for his songs like Dir Li and Nwel San Ou a few years back.
Today Patrick is lying at the North East Point Hospital suffering from a brain tumour.

In solidarity with their fellow artist and friend, the Next Step members in collaboration with Patrick’s family and various artists are coming together for this musical charity fund-raising activity in Victoria.

“The activity will be called ‘Help for Patrick’ and people including his fans are being encouraged to come and show their solidarity by either visiting him and bringing him a card, making a donation or praying for him on Friday,” the group’s leader Sonny Dogley has said.

“So let’s all come together and show we care,” said Sonny.
Sonny said during the two days in Victoria Next Step group will play Patrick’s songs along with other gospel songs and the public and fans are being encouraged to come and take part in.
All donations collected during the two days will be handed over to Patrick’s family.

People who would like to make any form of donation directly to the family can do so through phone numbers 2710092/2571556.

Meanwhile, Sonny is extending the group’s heartfelt thanks to Everglow at Sans Souci who has sponsored the posters ‘Help for Patrick’ for the activity.
