Water from PUC pipeline in east Mahé safe to drink |07 March 2013

It added that microbiological analysis conducted on the PUC water pipeline in the districts of Pointe Larue, Anse Aux Pins and Au Cap has shown that the water has not been contaminated and is therefore safe for human consumption.

Pointe Larue, Anse Aux Pins and Au Cap were badly hit but torrential rains, landslide, over-flowed sewage tanks and more as a result of the Felleng tropical depression in late January.
