Chinese embassy donates to National Assembly |13 March 2013

Speaker of the National Assembly Dr Patrick Herminie received the donation last week from Chinese ambassador Shi Zhongjun.
Mr Shi said this donation will add to the close relationship which exists between Seychelles and China.

He added that this donation will help in improving working conditions at the institution.
Mr Shi said the Chinese embassy will work closer with Dr Herminie and the National Assembly to extend cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.
Dr Herminie thanked Mr Shi and the embassy for the donation, adding that the institution depends greatly on these types of electronic equipment.

He added that this gesture will further strengthen the excellent relations with China.
The equipment will be used by the secretariat mainly with a few to be installed in the members’ study room.
