Speaker Herminie congratulates Chinese counterpart |04 April 2013

In a congratulatory message to Mr Zhang, Speaker Herminie has expressed appreciation to the government of China for the help provided to Seychelles, including the construction of the National Assembly building. 

The Speaker has also praised the excellent relationship shared between Seychelles and China which he said is firmly rooted in mutual respect, adding that under the leadership of Mr Zhang, he is confident that the cooperation between the two countries will grow from strength to strength.

Mr Zhang has become the chairman of the 12th National People’s Congress standing committee and he replaces Mr Wu Bangguo.
