Three cyclists off for Tanzania |24 May 2013

Edward Pothin of St Francis cycling club, Mario Joubert of Journey cycling club and Faddy Confiance of Eco cycling club are the three athletes chosen to attend the training.

Their stay in Tanzania will be part of a selection process whereby those who do well will qualify for places to follow a more advanced level training in South Africa.

If they do well in South Africa they will then head to Switzerland for a much longer period.

The cyclists left Seychelles yesterday and will be in Tanzania for two weeks. All three athletes are currently unemployed, although Faddy Confiance has been released from school to follow the training.
