New trees grace Anse Royale crèche’s garden |03 June 2013
New fruit saplings now grace the crèche’s garden following the tree-planting activity held at the school on Friday morning.
The initiative comes from the district administration office of Anse Royale.
Administrator Rubina Ernesta said the activity has been organised to mark Children’s Day and it forms part of the national campaign to plant 20,000 new trees.
Miss Ernesta and her team from the district administration brought fruit saplings such as papaya and mango among other varieties.
They joined the children and their teachers to plant their new trees.
