Seychelles golf open- Jean-Baptiste retains title

Winner Jean-Baptiste with the club championship trophyThe three-day championship was played at the Reef golf course, Anse Aux Pins last weekend.

Playing off a +1 handicap which is better than a scratch golfer (0 handicap), Jean-Baptiste finished with a gross score of 217, relegating Balette to second place with 218, while Jemmy Esther finished with 219 for third place.

The ladies’ champion was Mandy Didon with a gross score of 333.

Jemmy Esther registered the best overall net score of 198 to also win the gold division ahead of Louis Vandagne (205) and Catney Laporte (206).

The silver division was won by Dominique Morin with 203 points followed by Daryl Anthony (208) and Axel Andrade (216).

Arnold Michel triumphed in the bronze division with 206 points and was followed in second and third places by Luciano J. Michel (216) and Tim Horpinitch (218).

The best first round winner was Patrick Asba, while Ervin Pragassen took the best second round title and Harold Prea the best third round prize.
