The seminar, which started yesterday morning, is taking place at the Seychelles Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (Socga) training room.
It is being organised in partnership with OlympAfrica, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the FC Barcelona Foundation.

During yesterday’s opening ceremony attended by Socga president Antonio Gopal, secretary general Alain Alcindor and Seychelles Football Federation secretary general Jemmy Adela, the coaches were presented with their lecturer, Mopeli Mohlala of Lesotho, who is the FutbolNet regional director.

The seminar was officially opened by Mr Gopal, who also had a special welcome for the director of OlympAfrica for Mauritius Kayseevea Teeroovengadum, who will also be taking part in the seminar.

He also pointed out the importance of promoting the Olympic values to the young generation and stated that even though this seminar is centred on football, it will serve as a boost to other sports disciplines as well.

Established in 1994, the FC Barcelona Foundation, who is partnering the IOC in this seminar, is the body through which the famous Spanish football club, with star players like Lionel Messi, Xavi, Fabregas, Iniesta, conveys its corporate social responsibilities.
