Private clinic at Eden Plaza offers specialised dental service

Guests are guided on a tour of the clinic to see the equipment and learn about the services it offers

Minister for Health Mitcy Larue cut the ribbon last Friday during a ceremony held to officially open the German Dental Clinic.

The dental services are being offered by Dr Marion Fanselow who has a Master in Science in aesthetic dentistry and Dr Torsten Fanselow who holds a Master in Science in implantology.

They offer a number of services ranging from whitening, fillings, veneer, extractions, tooth removal, implants, orthodontic treatment, crowning and laser treatment among many others.

In dentistry, a veneer is a thin layer of material placed over a tooth, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth or to protect damage to a tooth's surface.
Dr Marion Fanselow has 20 years experience in this field, having worked in Germany and Dubai.

She added that the clinic will not only be open to Eden Island residents but to all Seychellois people, and will also target tourists.

The dental clinic has two consultation rooms, X-ray facilities and a waiting area. The clinic is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment to offer the best of dentistry services.
The specialists are offering services on weekdays from 9am to 5pm.
Other members of the staff are Seychellois.

Patients wishing to get an appointment or know more about the services can contact the clinic on 4346605 or 2606066 for emergency cases.

Guests at the opening ceremony were taken on a tour of the clinic to see the equipment and learn about the services it offers.

Minister Larue said the clinic will complement the services being offered by the Ministry of Health and thanked the specialists for such initiative as patients now can have an extra option for dental care.
