Hosted by Hilton Worldwide’s Global Talent Development Team and involving hotel teams from Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa, Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa and soon to open DoubleTree by Hilton Seychelles-Allamanda, the training involved a series of professional interactive workshops.

Delegates were also given access to a wide range of take home learning and over 2000 online personal development courses, all available on the company’s award winning ‘Hilton University’.

The mobile learning programme is designed to develop team members’ natural abilities and strengths to support personal improvement and growth in relevant roles across the company.

The initiative focuses on a variety of core characteristics including confidence building, promoting self-understanding, improving performance and delivery and fostering team spirit.

“Hilton Worldwide is arguably one of the leading industry advocates of staff development and, as our programme of individual learning expands, we see proven outcomes as a result of our ongoing training investment and continued commitment in offering meaningful opportunities to support staff progression,” said Ayman Madkour from Hilton’s Global Talent Management.

Claus Steiner, cluster general manager, Hilton Seychelles Hotels added: “Our ethos is based on providing unparalleled guest services and, to that end, we equip our team members with the right tools, resources and experiences to ensure success. The Seychelles hotel teams were inspired and motivated by our latest learning and development initiative, which will help us to reach the company’s business goals and equally, to retain the best talent.”
