Seychelles’ beauty queen on first international photo shoot

Miss Seychelles … Another World Agnes Gerry will spend nearly a week in ItalyShooting under the projector of famous Italian photographer Andrea Benedettia, Miss Gerry will walk up ‘Maison Gattinoni’ showing her smile and strut her stuff in Guillermo Mariotto’s famous collection.

Welcomed at the Rome international airport by Monette Rose, Seychelles Tourism Board’s regional manager in Italy, Miss Gerry, accompanied on this trip by Beryl Matatiken, event manager at STB, will experience her first professional photo shoot covering international stars and reputed name in the industry.

If you would have asked her about this international exposure she would have surely said the future she has taken was clear: a calendar of events including photo shoots Via Veneto, attending exclusive event in the splendid setting of Equestrian Centre of Military Lancers of Montebello and cat walking in the fashion show of Nino Lettieri’s collection, Alta Moda 2013-2014 at Italy’s Fashion week. Other events are also being organised for her by STB offices in Italy.

Agnes Gerry travelled to Italy as part of her preparation for the Miss World beauty pageant on September 28 in Indonesia, where she has to prove she can earn top mark. Her predecessor, Sherlyn Furneau crowned Miss Seychelles… Another World 2012, came out with flying colours from her Italian experience: becoming more ravishing and refined upon her arrival in Seychelles.

Seychelles tourism ambassador in Italy, Allesandro Pindilli, together with his business partner Cristiano, worked very close with the STB to promote and put together an extensive programme for the Miss Seychelles…Another World’s first official trip in Italy.

Mr Pindilli has also been supportive of this event since it was re-launched in 2012.
Sherin Naiken, STB’s newly appointed chief executive, welcomed and thanked Mr Pindilli and his partner for their support.
