Aspiring models invited to take part in upcoming fashion week

Aspiring Seychellois models are invited to take part in the upcoming Seychelles Fashion Week

The event is being organised by the Seychelles Fashion Week legal body in collaboration with the Seychelles Designer Association and Seychelles Model Association.
Among activities to be organised during the week is a fashion show.

Talking to Seychelles Nation, Terry Carolla, executive director for Seychelles Fashion Week said they are urging all Seychellois girls who have ever dreamt of sashaying on a catwalk to grab this opportunity that can make their dream come true.

The organisers are hosting an audition to select 40 girls to take part as models for the fashion show. The audition will take place at 1pm tomorrow at the International Conference Centre.
Girls wishing to take part in the audition must bear in mind that they should be 1.75 metres tall or above to be considered.

The girls chosen will be modelling designer clothes from Mexico, Australia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, India and Seychelles.

Mr Carolla has launched an appeal for all designers who has not confirmed their participation in the Seychelles Fashion Week to do so by the end of today. And those who have already confirmed they are going to take part are being asked to come to the audition so that they can give a helping hand in choosing the girls.

According to Mr Carolla designers taking part in this year’s Seychelles Fashion Week stand a good chance to participate in the World Fashion Week 2014.
