Hackathon competition kicks off |18 May 2017

The Hackathon competition organised by the Department of Information and Communications Technology in collaboration with the University of Seychelles (Unisey), was officially launched yesterday afternoon at the UniSey Computer Lab, Anse Royale.

The competition is being organised as part of activities to commemorate ICT week.

The competition is aimed at promoting the development of apps in the country, where the participants have to develop a mobile application for Android, IOS or Windows Platform.

The participants have only 24 hours to develop an application, and for this year, three teams were present at the launch.

The teams have until this afternoon to complete their apps to present to the jury.
