Seychelles Postal Services gets award


A UPU certification audit mission of Seychelles Postal Services was carried out from March 5 to 9, 2012 as part of a UPU strategic regional project on “Improvement of postal service in the English speaking countries of East Africa”.

The certification process involved a comprehensive on site assessment of the organisation, its operations and measured how well Seychelles Postal Services apply quality management processes.

The Seychelles Postal Services satisfied the certification process and obtained 1800 points out of 2000 which qualified for a silver award.

The Seychelles Postal Services has said it will maintain this award and aims to achieve certification A level (Gold) in 2014 after implementation of postal addressing system in Seychelles.
