Wushu followers to benefit from Master Zhang’s visit

Master Zhang is expected here today and will lead the sessions as from Monday July 9 at the NSC multipurpose hall. He will be here for two weeks – from July 6-18.

The Monday and Thursday sessions, which will run from 5pm to 6.30pm, are reserved for members of the Seychelles Wushu Association (SWA).

Members of the public who wish to follow the sessions can do so on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 5pm to 6.30pm at the same venue.

Master Zhang visited Seychelles last year and ran Tai Chi sessions from October 17-21 at the NSC multipurpose hall.

Zhang, who majored in Wushu and graduated from the Beijing Sport University, has been teaching Wushu and Tai Chi for 20 years and once worked in the China Cultural Centre in Benin for three years as a Wushu teacher.
