16-July-2012

The airline held an open day at the weekend on Mahe and will organise a similar one at the Pension Fund Complex, Grand Anse, Praslin on Friday and Saturday this week.

Applicants are advised to bring a CV, one passport photo and one full length photo.

Successful applicants must be graduates from post-secondary institutions, between 19 and 30 years of age, fluent in English, French and Creole and be able to reach 210cm without shoes.

In keeping with Air Seychelles’ mission to deliver quality service with unique Creole warmth, the airline seeks friendly and approachable candidates with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.

Cramer Ball, Air Seychelles’ chief executive officer, said: “Our cabin crew are the face of our brand and, with the recent arrival of our Airbus A330-200 aircraft, we need more dynamic individuals to come onboard and deliver outstanding service to our guests.

“Our existing cabin crew have completed their training for the A330 aircraft and taken to the skies, so now as the business is showing signs of improvement, this is the time to plan for our future. Particularly when our second A330 comes next year, we will need to have more cabin crew trained and ready to work our expanded international routes.”

Successful applicants will undergo training at Etihad Airways Training Academy in Abu Dhabi. Following completion of the programme, new cabin crew will return to be based in the Seychelles.
