This week in the National Assembly-Minister to answer questions on agriculture


• the ministry’s plan to ease workshops for farmers on how to better package and market their products,
• the government’s plan regarding farming and other agricultural activities on the outer islands,
• the performance of the feed factory under its new management, and
• the government’s plan to provide farmers with, and to keep a regular supply of basic agricultural raw materials.

The National Assembly will also consider two motions. The first motion to be tabled by the leader of government business Marie-Antoinette Rose will seek to ratify the Agreement on the Establishment of the African Tax Administration.

Emmanuel Fideria, member for Les Mamelles, will table the second motion requesting the government to put in place measures to increase competition in the rental pricing of building.
