New domestic terminal now home to attractive Seybar Café with unique local theme and wide range of culinary offerings

Seybar Café, one of the chicest new venues on the island

Anyone visiting the new domestic terminal of Seychelles’ International Airport will not fail to be impressed by one of its principal and eye-catching facilities – the Seybar Café.

The new Seybar Café, conceived in partnership with powerful, local brand, Seybrew, to provide customers with a memorable experience of the finest local products, takes centre stage in the tasteful development of the Seychelles airport’s new domestic terminal whose sophistication, elegant lines, ergonomic spaces and enticing suite of amenities and culinary offerings have definitely raised its profile as an up-to-date, international airport facility.

The brainchild of local architect Paris Searles and interior designer Georgia Van Heyste who has played a leading role in the development of the stylish, exclusive, Pangia Beach residential development, Seybar Café bears the hallmark of visionary design and attention to detail from its combination of soothing blue hues and variety of wood finishes giving the space a contemporary island-style feeling. Its open-plan seating area benefits from the view of the stunning backdrop of the granite mountains where customers can relax and enjoy an assortment of locally-inspired drinks and snacks.

The Seybar Café has clearly been conceived with the general public in mind and not just airline passengers awaiting their flights. It provides members of the public in search of a convenient location to meet and unwind in style within an electric ambiance where to enjoy a first-class range of island-inspired food, bar bites, delicious pastries, sandwiches and baguettes and, of course, hot and cold beverages, popular milkshakes, exciting Takamaka cocktails, chill beers and fine wines. Seybar Café also often features attractive combos and promotions, and will continue to introduce new products, further anchoring itself as the ideal venue for meetings with friends, family and business associates.

Seybar Café prides itself on fine customer service, headed by an experienced F & B manager with 12 years’ exposure in the hospitality industry and a Seychellois team of 10 restaurant attendants always striving to improve the customers’ experience. Recently, Bernis Edmond received an award for excellence in customer service from SCAA, during the official opening ceremony of the new domestic terminal attended by President Danny Faure, senior government officials and business leaders in recognition of her performance and going the extra mile to ensure that clients will always return to one of the chicest, new venues on the island.

“We are confident Seybar Café ticks all the right boxes when it comes to venue, service and our wide range of foods and beverages,” enthuses Pascale d’Offay, chief executive of Skychef, “and we would like to announce that we are open for business, so look out on social media for news of our specials and events and for the upcoming Slow Turtle Promotion in collaboration with Seybrew on August 30, 2019.”
