UniSey to host 10th anniversary lecture |14 September 2019

To commemorate its 10th anniversary on September 17, the University of Seychelles will bring together a number of reputed researchers to deliver a series of lectures on topics in their respective fields of interest.

Since 2016, the University of Seychelles (UniSey) has started the annual event to commemorate its official opening.

The lecture seeks to promote local scholars who are actively engaged in scholarly activities, in particular, research or other prominent work that have national or regional impact.

This year the UniSey lecture will include Dr Gerard Rocamora and Dr Elvina Henriette who have been invited to deliberate on the eradication of invasive animals and other island restoration practices in Seychelles: Conservation achievements and future challenges.

This event will be held at 4pm, at the UniSey, Anse Royale campus, and will be followed by a cocktail.

The UniSey’s key stakeholders, major partners, people with interest in the theme of the lecture, friends of the UniSey, staff, active alumni and new students have been invited to attend.
