Indian worker goes missing on Desroches island |23 September 2019
The Islands Development Company (IDC) has announced that one of its Indian construction workers has been reported missing since Friday afternoon.
Search parties were organised by the island manager and his team on the island to look for the missing staff, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, the police were notified of the incident.
On Saturday morning a group of police officers and additional IDC staff were flown to Desroches to help with the search operation.
