Victoria 250 years - On September 28, 1931 |28 September 2019

On September 28, 1931, the Governor De Symons Montagu George Honey (1872-1945) was informed by an inhabitant named Morel, of an outbreak of dysentery of a severe nature at Anse Aux Pins. Two dozen cases were reported. During that year 89 people were hospitalised and 15 died of dysentery.
