Volleyball: 11th Indian Ocean Islands Games |19 July 2023

National pre-selections on Sri Lankan training camp

 

As part of the preparations for the forthcoming 11th Indian Ocean Islands Games 2023 scheduled to take place in Madagascar from August 23 to September 3, the national volleyball pre-selections left the country for Sri Lanka last night for a one-week training camp.

The trip has been made possible through an agreement between the Seychelles Volleyball Federation (SVF), the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVF), and the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Victoria. The two pre-selections are expected back in the country on July 26.

The male pre-selection is made up of Ian Lesperance, Carlos Marie, Sam Dine, Shayne Farabeau, Ricky Vel, Cory Toussaint, Jean-Paul Mellie, Jean-Philip Vidot, Sarel Leon, Selwyn Volcère, Hendrick Catene, Adrian César, Terry César, Franchesco Joubert, Daryll Lesperance, Darren Young, and Alvin Bonnelame (players), François Magloire (head coach) and Ralph Dodin (assistant coach).           

            As for the female delegation, it is made up of Melina Crispin, Nayeli Etienne, Maya Biong, Tania Solin, Petra Richard, Manuella Monthy, Kelly Matombe, Hillary Nourrice, Angelique Adeline, Bryna Sultan, Rona Decomarmond, Marielle Bonne, Vanita Rose, Petrina  Victor, Cathrina Simon, Natifa Marengo, Dania Hoareau, Mary-Ella Annette (players), Julien Onezime (head coach), Henrico Ernesta (assistant coach), Ernest Bonnelame (manager), Beryl Larame (administrator), and Gracie Nartey (medical).
