Passenger suffers panic attack in mid-air, Air Seychelles flight grounded on arrival |06 March 2020

Air Seychelles confirmed yesterday that flight HM021 from Tel Aviv to the Seychelles was grounded at the Seychelles International Airport upon arrival at 8am for one and half hours after one of its guests had difficulty breathing mid-flight.

In a statement released yesterday, the Air Seychelles spokesperson wrote that the cabin crew operating the flight followed their medical procedure, administered oxygen to the guest and advised the Ministry of Health’s rapid response team upon landing.

The statement added that the rapid response team attended to the guest on board the aircraft and confirmed that the guest had a panic attack. All passengers on the aircraft were then cleared for disembarkation.
