17-year-old male arrested for cultivation of drugs |25 March 2020
Officers of the Anti-Narcotics Bureau (ANB) within the police department arrested a 17-year-old unemployed male of Le Niole during an operation conducted at his residence on Monday this week.
He was arrested for the offence of cultivating a controlled drug, 29 green plants suspected to be cannabis plants, which were uprooted and seized by the ANB officers.
He was brought to the ANB station for procedural formalities in the presence of his mother and later released for him to report back to the ANB station in two weeks’ time for more formalities, as the case is being prepared for the courts.
