Murder suspect charged |06 June 2020

The 30-year-old man from Anse à la Mouche, arrested on May 21, 2020 as suspect in the death of 51-year-old Catherine Moustache from the same sub-district, was formally charged with murder yesterday.

Lifeless Moustache was discovered floating in the sea in the vicinity of the Anse à la Mouche agricultural centre on March 24, 2019 with injuries on different parts of her body.

The accused, who has been on remand since May 22, will reappear before court on June 15, 2020.
