President Faure sends congratulatory message to Russia

The Russian Federation celebrated its Independence Day anniversary yesterday, June 12. To mark this occasion, President Danny Faure has sent a congratulatory message to his Russian counterpart, H.E Vladimir Putin.

In his message, President Faure expressed that “Our two countries share a warm relationship underpinned by common interests and close cooperation across a board spectrum of areas. To this note, on behalf of the government and the people of Seychelles, it gives me great pleasure and honour to convey to you, the government and the people of Russia our most sincere felicitations on the occasion of your country’s Independence Day.

“We wish to reaffirm and commit ourselves anew to keep on fostering this friendly relation in order to further enhance and help propel our bilateral ties to an even higher level through joint efforts,” concluded President Faure.
