The little stars won’t twinkle this year!

A scene from a past show. The little stars will have to wait until next year to shine again

Unfortunately with the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ this year, according to Bennet Accouche, the creator and artistic director of this much-loved talent show.

“ICCS has informed me that due to the COVID situation they are allowing only 250 persons inside the hall. This is half of the normal capacity. Even with two shows (500 pax) it is still less than one normal show of 600 pax,” noted Mr Accouche.

He noted that registration for this year’s show started late January this year and quite a few parents have registered their children.

“If all goes well the show will take place next year. Those who have registered will be auditioned next year. I will also audition new candidates that register next year. I know many children and parents were looking forward for the show, but I also know that we all understand the situation.”

Sir Bennet noted that if all goes well, the next Twinkle Twinkle Little Star will take place in August next year.
