Returning resident tests positive for Covid-19 |30 September 2020

A 48-year-old Seychellois woman is receiving care at the isolation and treatment centre at Perseverance after testing PCR-positive for Covid-19.

The Bel Ombre resident arrived from Dubai on Monday last week (September 21).

She is symptomatic and laboratory tests indicate that she most likely caught the infection in Dubai.

Contact tracing has already started and possible contacts are being followed up.
