New Covid-19 case detected at quarantine facilities |05 October 2020

The Public Health Authority recorded another positive Covid-19 case on Saturday at the quarantine facilities at Berjaya.

The 40-year-old cascade resident, a Seychellois of Indian origin, arrived in the country, from India, on September 22. He was travelling with the 71-year-old who tested positive on Friday October 2 and shared the same room.

He is also not presenting with any symptoms of the virus but however has been transferred to the isolation and treatment centre for monitoring and care.
