Euromedical Family Clinic, a multidisciplinary healthcare centre in Seychelles, has opened a third branch of the clinic located on Francis Rachel Street, Victoria.

Euromedical Family Clinic is a multidisciplinary medical centre, committed to a high standard of the personal-based principle of rendering healthcare services according to worldwide protocols and generally accepted medical regulations. The first branch was opened in 2010 by Dr Vladimir Romenskiy and Dr Yelena. At that time they both had already worked for the Seychelles Hospital for ten years. Euromedical Family Clinic provides a full range of services for both children and adults

Talking to the managing director of the Euromedical Family clinic, Dr Vladimir, he pointed out that “We opened a private consultation because we felt there was a demand for it. We are here to help reduce the load of the government’s health sector in taking in some patients. We are also expanding because we now have more specialists. The demand is here and we try to accommodate as many clients as we can. For many patients, it was difficult to reach our clinics at Providence and Eden. Now with a clinic here, they have more opportunities to have specialised consultation,” explained Dr Vladimir.

In the Victoria Clinic, which will open until 6pm, patients will be able to see:

• Dr Mariannis Quesada, cardiologist who will be consulting patients with acute and chronic cardiology problems, ECG, echocardiography, Halter’s monitoring, 24-hr blood pressure monitoring and Doppler ultrasound investigations;

• Dr Alexander Jesic, neurologist and will undertake neurological patient consultations such as chronic headaches, migraine, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s diseases, etc, carotid ultrasound, botox injection for neurological problem;

• Dr Olga Fedorova, gynaecologist who will be doing gynaecology consultation, infertility clinic, colposcopy;

• Dr Vladimir Romensky, physician who will be doing regular consultations, abdominal and soft tissue ultrasound.

At the Eden branch patients will be able to see:

• Dr Farkhonden Bamsi, gynaecologist;

• Dr Hans Manee, ENT specialist;

• Dr Poongkuzhali Pillay, dermatologist/cosmetologist;

• Dr Venesa Venturelli, cardiologist and

• Dr Bernardino Milanes, physician.

At Providence Clinic patients will be able to see:

• Dr Yelena Romeska, general practitioner;

• Dr Jhawla Manoo, general practitioner and orthopaedic;

• Dr Manoo Rankhelawon, specialist in rheumatology and musculoskeletal disorder.

Dr Vladimir also announced that all laboratories’ facilities have been moved to the Victoria branch. The laboratory service is a walk-in service and one does not need to see a doctor to make lab tests.

“We have also included an integrated laboratory information system with patients’ portal and communication. The client receives all the results on his emails. We are also consulting with the Ministry of Health to start doing the PCR tests. For now we offer a full range of laboratory investigations, including haematology, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology investigations. Special health check packages, tumour marker packages, anonymous sexually transmitted disease diagnostic panel and vitamin level investigations,” stated Dr Vladimir.

Euromedical Family Clinic also operates four pharmacies at Providence, Eden, Riverside and also at the new branch in Victoria.

“We are here to serve the community of Seychelles and trying our best to bring more specialists to care for our Seychellois community,” concluded Dr Vladimir.
