New Chinese coaches for gymnastic and table tennis
SEYCHELLOIS gymnasts and table tennis players will for the next year benefit from the expertise of two Chinese coaches.
 
Former female gymnast Yang YuanYuan and table tennis coach Liao Song arrived here recently and immediately started working with the athletes in their respective disciplines.
Song, who has been coaching for three years, told Sports Nation that “I am surprised to see such good equipment in Seychelles. That’s very good for a small country.”
He added that “I like Seychelles. I’ve never seen such a beautiful place with white beaches, mountains and blue sky.”
Both YuanYuan and Song are here on one-year contracts. It is hoped that their presence here helps to improve the quality of Seychellois gymnastics and table tennis as Chinese gymnasts and table tennis players are ranked highly worldwide.
