VCS Training Centre-Desktop application courses, Cisco training take centre stage |01 February 2005

These include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint courses up to expert level, as well as Network+ and A+ courses.

The training centre will also be organising a series of one-day workshops on topics of interest for users wishing to delve into specific issues such as hardware upgrading, physical network installation and to develop specialised expertise in desktop application.

Training catalogues and course schedules are available for participants wishing to enroll on these courses.

VCS Training Centre is the first IT centre in the country authorised to provide advanced training and certification in Cisco Systems. These will include Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).

The technologies manufactured by Cisco Systems Incorporated is used by several companies in the country, including Cable & Wireless (Seychelles) which uses the system for routing, telephony and remote access.
