Seychelles nature to star on France's Ushuaia TV |10 October 2005

The crew forms part of Films Concept Associes, which has been shooting a series of documentaries called 'The Guardians of Nature" for more than a year.

The concept for the series involves travelling to countries around the world that have particularly interesting fauna and flora, and delves into what structures have been established in these places to conserve and protect this natural wealth.

The documentary for Seychelles is expected to include segments on whale sharks, giant tortoises, seabirds, marine fauna and coral reefs. The crew is travelling to Bird Island, Frégate, Alphonse and the Vallée de Mai on Praslin, among other destinations around Seychelles, for interviews with local experts and authorities.

The series, which intends to spotlight 40 destinations worldwide, has aired on Ushuaia TV since March 2005.
