Seychelles music on DVD |15 October 2005

The DVD, entitled My Seychelles Music, contains 13 exciting music clips of nine Seychellois artistes, namely David André, Joenise Juliette, José Charles, Michelle Marengo, Jahmi, Danny and David Deltel, Keven Valentin and Brian Matombe.

"Each clip plays in its own fitting setting, and the people from Greenhut took great care to get the best action and originality onto film.

"We wrote extensive story boards for each clip and planned our filming meticulously. The locations, time of the day, lighting, actors – everything had to be just right. We had a lot of fun doing it all, and this positive spirit is palpable on each of the clips," says Werner Schulz, the executive producer of the project.

The DVD comes in an elegant matt-finished sleeve, which contains the DVD box with the actual DVD.

There are three interactive menus that allow all the clips to play in one go, or clips can be selected from the clip selection menu. Another menu connects the viewer with short write-ups on the participating artistes.

"We are really proud of this product," comments Werner Schulz. "Everything on this DVD is just right. It looks good, it sounds good, it is original, and it was high time that some one realized a project like this locally. After watching it for the first time one would want to watch it over and over again."

The DVD My Seychelles Music has been duplicated in Germany, is of an 'all regions' type, and is on sale at Ray's Music Room and Antigone bookshop as the two major outlets.
