A spokesperson for the team has said “we are inviting families to join us for the whole day Sunday. There will be different activities like the very popular hip hop battle on the programme but the main attraction will be the game of basketball itself.”

There will be three-on-three competitions, slam dunk and 3-point shooting contests to name but a few.

For the very small, they will be able to participate in baby basketball matches with the hoops lowered so that they can get the feeling of scoring and even slam-dunking.

“Try it you’ll like it,” the spokesperson added.

The day will start at 10 a.m. and teams have until 9.30 a.m. tomorrow to register.
