Intelvision launches own television channel |12 June 2006

The channel titled "Intelvision One" is to be distributed through its network and would be available free to all Cable TV subscribers as an introductory offer.

New subscribers will have to pay a monthly fee of only R75 to receive this channel. The subscription fee is R900.

The content of this new channel includes a compilation of some of the most highly acclaimed and award winning television series such as The Soprano’s, 24 and the X-Files.

Quenching the thirst for more telenovelas, Intelvision would telecast the very popular La Mujer De Mi Vida, (translated into English as The Woman of My Life)  twice a week on the channel commencing as from June 8,  every Tuesday and Thursday and repeated on Sunday evening.

The telenovela comes from the acclaimed director Jose Ferrara and would be one of the newest telenovelas to be screened in Seychelles.

Besides television series and telenovelas, viewers will also have access to the best of Hollywood blockbusters, now a reality with daily premieres of the finest of movies released.

Apart from television series and movies, Intelvision plans to promote local programming and would venture deep into local production in the future.
