260 arrive on another chartered flight |29 December 2006
The visitors’ trip is being organized by the Italian tour operator Alke Viaggi, together with Creole Travel Services.
Alke Viaggi is owned by a Seychellois, Julianna Grandcourt, who organized two charters last year around the same time.
Her company was working in partnership with Creole Travel Services (CTS) who now have a new VIP arrival lounge at the airport where some of the tourists were received upon their arrival.
Amanda Lang of CTS said that the passengers comprised families, VIPs and couples.
She said that the lounge into which some of the VIPs were received has been created for “people who want a little bit more, for example a little more luxury and attention, and a chance to get away from the hassle and bustle of the general crowds.”
“The clients with the ticket that allows them the use of the lounge have champagne on arrival, and the services of a hostess as well as local gifts from the artisanal trade,” she said.
She said that clients patronizing the lounge can also use their laptops.
“Clients can pay for a package that includes a home to home service, which includes a limousine, transfer to airport and from the next port to their final destinations,” she said.
