Sekaar’s Shopping Centre promotion raffle-Lucky customers rewarded |22 January 2007

Like all the other winners of the raffle, the first three are long standing customers of the supermarket.

Ms Mida Volcy of Baie Lazare, the star prize winner of a return ticket to Singapore, has been a customer since 1998.

While expressing her joy at being the lucky winner among so many other clients, she says she enjoys doing her shopping at the end of each month at the supermarket because it is spacious to move between the shelves and “you get all the things you need in one shopping spree and I also enjoy the free service they provide to take you home afterwards”.

For her part Ms Naida Pillay of the Shopping Centre says that it’s not the first time they have organised such an activity. She says it aims at not only promoting the business but also “encouraging people and giving them something back after the long years that they have been esteemed customers”.

The grand raffle was launched early December whereby any customer who shop for R1000 and above at any of the three Sekaar’s branches -- Les Cannelles, Port Glaud and Foret Noire -- automatically qualified for a free raffle ticket.
