National Assembly election-Delegation leave for Singapore to oversee printing of ballot papers |25 April 2007

The three-man delegation include representatives from the two main political parties contesting the forthcoming election, namely the Seychelles People's Progressive Front (SPPF) and the Seychelles National Party (SNP).

The SPPF is being represented by Ralph Agrippine while the SNP is being represented by Denis Nageon.

Apart from overseeing the design and printing of the ballot papers, the representatives of the National Assembly candidates will also choose the security seal which will make it counterfeit-proof and oversee the packaging of the ballot papers.

Once in Seychelles, the ballot papers will be put at the Central Bank under strict security until the day of the election.

The delegation are expected back in the country next week.
