Love tune ‘Champion’ releases Viv Normal album |10 November 2007
The young singer and song writer intends to continue in this same vein with the release of his second album entitled Viv Normal. The song Dan Mon Lespri is sure to be a hit as it reminds fans of the Ne Pour Ou number.
Speaking to The Arts, ‘Champion’ said that he expects the new album to be a success especially with lovers.
“There are songs for all occasions. I sing about everyday life, love and righteousness. My fans won’t be disappointed with the album which has taken me 15 months to work on. It has taken me that long because I wanted to produce some good music. I’m sure my fans will enjoy the songs. The Dan Mon Lespri song is already making its way towards becoming a hit song,” said ‘Champion’.
Copies of the album, which has been produced by Jah Bless Crew Productions, cost R125 and are on sale at the usual outlets on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue but those who buy their copies from the artiste himself will get a R25 reduction.
Asked if the number of albums on the market and which are getting rave reviews won’t affect the sale of his Viv Normal album, ‘Champion’ replied:
“Competition is OK and I don’t fear competition. It is a good thing, but I’m confident the Viv Normal album will be a success.”
