Letter to Editor-Congratulations Sophia, congratulations Seychelles |30 October 2008

Sophia, our very own little girl from Praslin, has given us all another good reason to be proud to be a Seychellois, and she has certainly inspired many other Seychellois to believe in themselves and live by the popular saying “the sky is the limit”.

Sophia’s achievement will now also serve as a confidence boost for our equally graceful Miss Seychelles Islands 2008, Elena Angione, who will be taking part in the Miss World beauty pageant soon as well as second princess Natalie Domingue, leaving for the Miss East Africa pageant.

On behalf of the panel of judges for Miss Seychelles Islands 2008, I wish you all the very best. Go for it girls and make us all proud!

Our congratulations also go to the ever-energetic Susie Pierre, director of the Miss Seychelles Islands pageant, for believing so much in the potential of our young ladies as well as to the generous sponsors who continue to help in any way they can to make it all happen.
