Father and son duo win Johnnie Walker Classic golf tournament |27 November 2008

Sponsored by Seychelles Breweries and played on a better ball medalford format, the tournament took place last Saturday at the Seychelles Golf Club, Anse Aux Pins.

Godfroy and son Axel finished with 10 strokes under par after the two rounds, scoring 57 – 29 on the front nine and 28 on the back nine.

The duo of Paolo Chionni and Luca Bertoletti finished with 61 – 33 on the front nine and 28 on the back nine – to be ranked second on a countback.

Third place went to Patrick Asba and Joe Morin, who finished with the same scores as the runners-up.

The Anthony Lablache/Andrew Hoareau duo and the Rizvi boys – Gibran and Marej – won the front and back nines with score of 30.
