High Commissioner JumeauThe presentation was part of Jamaica’s annual diplomatic week, during which its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, in collaboration with other ministries, holds a week of activities for the diplomatic corps, both living there and abroad.

One of the highlights of the week is the presentation of credentials by new ambassadors and high commissioners.

A bilateral meeting was also requested by Mr Jumeau to revive the draft agreement on technical, economic and commercial cooperation that the two governments began negotiating in 1992/1993, as well as to inquire about Seychelles’ 2007 request to the Jamaican government for a double taxation avoidance agreement.
