Volleyball-Barclays Cup finals line-up complete |16 October 2009

Men’s top-flight league champions Spikers whitewashed reigning Indian Ocean Club Championship winners Beau Vallon 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-22) to book a place in the division one cup final against Roots.

Port Glaud-based Roots, who have been demoted to the bottom division after finishing last in the six-team top flight, eliminated St Louis 3-0 in the other semifinal.

All four finals are scheduled for Saturday October 24 at the Palais des Sports.

In the women’s division one final at 3.30pm, SMB, who defeated league champions Cascade 3-0, will play Arsu.

The first match of the day at 2pm will be the women’s division two final between St Louis Bombers and Cascade Youth.

At 5pm, Outsiders will meet La Digue in the men’s division two final. This will be followed by the top division final between Premium Spikers and Roots at 6.30pm.
