Bodybuilding-Mekdachi out of Night of the Champions contest |18 December 2009

The bodybuilder told Sports Nation yesterday that he will not be on stage on Sunday.
“I’m not competing on Sunday,” said Mekdachi.

“I informed the Seychelles Amateur Bodybuilding Association about my decision during a meeting on Saturday and I was shocked to read in the paper that I am going to compete.

“This is not good for my reputation and that of the paper. People will buy tickets to see me in action and will be frustrated when I don’t take the stage. This is why I want to inform my fans that I won’t be competing on Sunday,” said the 30-year-old flex poser.

Sunday’s contest will start at 6pm with tickets costing R75 for adults and R25 for children under 12 years old.
