Analysis to help improve Victoria hospital |19 March 2010

The team, from the Quality Conclave Group based in the United Arab Emirates, will make recommendations to the government, with the aim of improving efficiency and effectiveness, and eventually preparing the hospital for autonomy.

After this analysis, a strategic plan will be drawn up that will provide practical solutions to help the hospital meet accreditation requirements.

Achieving quality accreditation is especially important in view of the plans to set up a medical faculty at the University of Seychelles.

The outcome of the gap analysis will be presented to the Ministry of Health and Social Development in a debriefing session at the end of the four-day mission, which will end tomorrow.
