Football: Barclays league division one-Dynamo claim Anse Reunion’s scalp |11 September 2010

Anse Reunion though got off to the perfect start as they went ahead in the fifth minute as Malagasy Jean Del’Or Tsaralaza put in a great cross and Yelvanny Rose easily tapped in at the far post for a 1-0 lead.

Dynamo had a decent opportunity in the 22nd minute as Malagasy captain Asman Todisoa latched onto a long ball but his low shot was well stopped by goalie Wilfred Ally.

Overall the first half was very poor as both teams tried to get their acts together and it was Anse Reunion who created the only other gilt-edged chance in the 34th minute after a good move involving Yelvanny Rose and Roderick Rose to set up Malagasy Jean Eddy Randriamihaja but he could not hit the target.

Two substitutions in the second half changed the course of the match as Anse Reunion captain, Malagasy Jocelyn, went off with a back injury.

As for Dynamo, Marcus Maria came off the bench to inspire his team’s comeback and create havoc in Anse Reunion’s defence.
Dynamo upped the temp and in the 49th minute, Steve Henriette broke clear to fire at Ally who turned the ball into corner.

Six minutes later, Dynamo again threatened as Evans Télémaque played a neat one-two with Maria but he shot across the face of goal.

Dynamo levelled matters a minute later from Damien Tamboo’s corner which came off Roderick Rose to roll past Ally for a 1-1 score.

The goal raised Dyanmo’s confidence and in the 69th minute, Maria latched onto a threaded pass to bore forward and his cross was driven in at the far post by Darrel Damoo to make it 2-1.

Dynamo were buzzing, while Anse Reunion were shell shocked and conceded a needless penalty two minutes later as Norvil Gaspard pulled down Maria and referee Gonzague Boniface pointed to the spot.

Steve Henriette stepped up to blast the ball past Ally despite guessing the right way for a 3-1 score.

In the 75th minute, Maria went on a mazy run and he centred to captain Todisoa but Ally denied him at the second attempt.

Dynamo increased their advantage in the 79th minute from Collin Tirant’s long throw which was flicked on by Maria who showed some great ball skill to control and thump the ball into the net in a crowded penalty area for a 4-1 deserved lead.

Anse Reunion tried to steady the boat late on and in the 82nd minute, Yelvanny Rose picked out Malagasy substitute Milison Niasere but his shot rolled just wide.

In the 87th minute, Milison made amends as he headed into the roof of the net from close range from Jean Del’Or’s free kick for a 2-4 score.

A minute later, Yelvanny Rose should have further reduced the arrears as Damien Tamboo’s clearance dropped on his head from five metres out but he headed against the post.

Dynamo fully deserved their victory with three vital points as they aim to avoid the relegation battle.
